Stock Dam Cleanouts
Stock Dams are designed to hold water, slow water movement and reduce sediment from excessive runoff or spring melt.
They are a dual-purpose dugout for water storage and pasture grazing management.
Lake Pelican Waster Project District along with the Upper Big Sioux Watershed has together cleaned out many in the district.
